Originally, I wasn’t going to add any recipes here, but then I changed my mind. :) Here are a few of my favorites.

Lok Lak

This recipe is from a cooking class I took at The Smokin’ Pot, in Battambang, Cambodia. I usually double the recipe when serving 4 people. It’s all really flexible so have fun and enjoy. For more information about this wonderful dish, check out this post.

Main Ingredients:
100 g beef
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1T Oyster Sauce
4T oil (any type)
1T chili sauce (in a bottle – Thai Chili Sauce)
1 tsp black pepper
6 cloves garlic (when doubling the recipe I use 9)
1T katchup
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1 tomato
1 cucumber
lettuce

Sauce Ingredients (listed for one serving):
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp lime juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp chopped garlic

Method:
Mix the beef with the oyster sauce, tomato sauce, black pepper, sugar and salt and lef it. Put the oil in to a wok or pan over a high heat. Add the garlic to fry until it becomes a bit brown. Then add the beef an fry for two minutes. Add the chili sauce and fry for a few seconds. Turn off the heat.

Mix all ingredients for sauce in individual dishes.
